Briefing candidates for interviews

If you are involved in setting up candidate interviews for your business, there are things you can do to make sure your interviews go smoothly. Here is a checklist for briefing candidates:

Time & date of interview

Location of interview – clear directions including parking

Interview Panel – names and job titles

Interview format – style of questions, any tasks?

Any pre-interview on-line testing required?

Presentations – ensure candidates are given adequate time to prepare, know what format to use and how they will present on the day.

Dress code – let them know how they should dress
