This Sunday is ‘Drive-It Day’, an annual event organised by the Federation of British Historic Vehicle Club (FBHVC) for their 520+ member clubs and other historic vehicle enthusiasts to drive around in their fantastic classic cars.
Drive it Day commemorates the original 1900 Thousand Mile Trial, a mammoth journey around the country, starting in London through to Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester, Derby, Kendal, Carlisle, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Leeds, Sheffield, Nottingham and then back to London.
65 cars started.. by Edinburgh 51 were still running… and 35 vehicles made it back to London!
Copeland’s Managing Director Julia and her husband will be out on Sunday in their 1929 Chain Drive Frazer Nash Super Sports. Is anyone else out there taking part?
