This weekend sees the 20th Goodwood Revival. It’s incredible to believe that 20 years have passed since the event has become the pinnacle of historic motor racing.
What sets it aside from other motor racing venues, is the English Garden Party atmosphere coupled with some serious racing. You can expect to see machines worth millions of pounds being raced as their makers intended. The drivers star as much as the cars, this year over 10 Touring Car Champions take part in the St Mary’s Trophy for 1960’s Saloon cars.
The highlight for us is the Royal Automobile Club TT Celebration, where current professional drivers share AC Cobras, Ferrari’s and E Type Jaguars with their amateur owners. We’ll be routing for Mike Jordan and Mike Whittaker in the ‘underdog’ TVR Griffith. Who will you be cheering on?
