Here are a few tips to help you sell your vacancy to ensure you get the best possible candidates:
- Think about who you are trying to attract and make sure your advert speaks to them – make it clear who you are after.
- Talk about your business, culture, successes, customers and plans for future. Ambitious candidates want to join businesses that are going places.
- Give the key responsibilities of the job, but don’t just repeat the job description – it’s best to use bullet points and highlight the key responsibilities.
- Highlight career opportunities and where the role might lead.
