Aftersales Retention Manager

A leading manufacturer of passenger cars is seeking an Aftersales Retention Manager to join their team based in their head office in Berkshire.

Working closely with the field based aftersales team you will be responsible for the development of the aftersales product proposition, programmes and processes. You will be required to identify regional aftersales and parts performance gaps against target and implement the necessary operational countermeasures.

This role would suit someone with experience in a dealer-facing aftersales role or aftersales retention function for a vehicle manufacturer. You will need to have a very good understanding of automotive aftersales, demonstrate ambition, drive and very strong commercial acumen and communication skills.

Key responsibilities:

  • Development of the Aftersales Product Proposition
  • Effective communication of the Aftersales proposition and programmes to the field teams
  • Development of dealer aftersales targets
  • Through national KPI Analysis create any necessary gap countermeasure activity
  • Support Development of retention products

About You:

  • Experience in a dealer-facing aftersales or aftersales retention role working for a vehicle manufacturer
  • Ideally educated to at least A level standard
  • Understanding of the dealership Aftersales environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to make sound commercial recommendations and decisions
