A leading oil manufacturer is seeking an Area Sales Manager who will be responsible for growing business into the automotive, aerospace, machinery and manufacturing sectors.
You will cover a territory stretching from the Midlands to North West England, working to achieve sales growth in the oil & lubricant market. This role would suit someone with experience in a field-based sales role selling into industrial sites. You will ideally be living within the territory and be prepared for regular travel.
- Increase market share and sales through building and maintaining strong working relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Write, deliver and present sales proposals.
- Maintain a high level of technical knowledge about key products and processes
- Experience selling into the industrial manufacturing sector
- Have a knowledge and passion for the industry
- You will be self-motivated and highly driven
- Demonstrate achievement in profitable sales growth through selling high-quality technical solutions.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to create sales proposals and to deliver professional customer presentations.
- Excellent communication skills which enable you to build and maintain relationships
