A unique opportunity to be part of an iconic commercial vehicle manufacturer’s exciting growth plans. They are seeking a strong sales person to join their business as a Fleet Sales Manager to develop new business directly with end-users and via the dealer network in Southern England. You will ideally be located in the M4 / M25 region. This role is employed directly with the manufacturer.

The Role

You will proactively develop vehicle sales on a regional basis, but also to look at the opportunities on a national level. You will manage all the customers in your region – from SMEs to large corporates. You will also develop strong relationships with key dealer partners and end-users to maximise sales.

The successful candidate will need to develop new business – so you will need to demonstrate the ability to plan, prioritise and prospect for new customers.

Overall Purpose of the Job:

  • Control day to day running of the southern regional sales operation
  • Create, maintain and develop relationships with new, existing and prospect customers
  • Ensuring sales orders are processed correctly from order to delivery
  • Regular face to face contact with dealers and end-users.
  • Ensuring part exchange values are monitored effectively
  • Develop business with used vehicle dealers.
  • Ensure that all activities are directed at improving the customer experience

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience working in a sales role within the fleet & leasing sector
  • Proven track record of success in new business development
  • Experience of working with dealers would be useful
