Job Description

Opportunity to join a leading car manufacturer as Marketing Programmes Manager. You will manage a small team and have responsibility for the management of quarterly marketing programmes for the manufacturer covering retail, motability, employee channel, and loyalty.

This role would suit a degree educated person with a background working for a vehicle manufacturer in either an operations or product management function. Any experience working with a captive finance provider would be very useful. This is a fast-paced, high profile role and would give you exposure to a wide range of stakeholders within the business.

 
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

  •  Competitive Evaluation & Performance reporting:

o    Maintain cross carline competitive monitoring from product marketing teams

  • Campaign development:

o    Manage local campaign development and approval workflow

o    Consolidate key planning inputs eg cost of finance, RVs, Personal Contract Plan & maturities

o    Manage dealer Marketing working group and communications of programs to the dealer network

  • Employee channel:

o    Overall responsibility for planning and consumer offer strategy to employees

  • Loyalty:

o    Ongoing renewal performance planning and monitoring

o    Development of retail loyalty consumer offers

o    Create national quarterly campaigns

o    Manage Motability campaign strategy and account management

  • Manage Cross Carline Processes:

o    Local cross carline pricing & product specification

o    Local brochure & event calendar management

o    Manage local competitive evaluation

o    Key contact for European head office on most of the cross carline related activities

o    Product manage any cross carline special edition introduction

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience working for a vehicle OEM in either a product or sales operations role
  • Educated to degree level or similar
  • Experience working with a captive finance company would be very advantageous
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good analytical skills
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • A high level of resilience
  • Proficient in MS Office package
