Job Description
A manufacturer of luxury brand cars is seeking a Used Car Remarketing Manager to build and manage their UK used car operation. You’ll have responsibility for used vehicle commercial objectives and will work with a wide range of UK stakeholders as well as European colleagues. This role would suit an ambitious remarketing and certified pre-owned professional who is creative, dynamic and has a strategic thinking mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage the UK used car operation to deliver used car sales objectives
- Create and manage the de-fleet process
- Creating a Retail standard for all cars
- Develop a pricing strategy and marketing platform to sell pre-owned cars to customers
- Manage the allocation of cars onto the pre-owned platform to ensure sales, stock management and pricing are accurate for the market
- Create used car market reports and analysis
- Work with captive finance partner on used car pricing and finance options
- Effectively manage used car data to support residual value optimisation
- Ensure close working relationships with leasing industry remarketing teams
- Monitor and control refurbishment costs
About You
- At least 2 years working in a used vehicle / remarketing function
- A background working for either a vehicle manufacturer, dealer group (in a group used car function) or online used vehicle platform
- Have a strategic and analytical thinking mindset
- You will have exceptional organisational skills and an extraordinary attention to detail
- Able to build strong working relationships & effectively influence stakeholders
- Commercially awareness and business acumen with a strong interest in the automotive industry
- Passionate about premium luxury product and sales management
- Results orientated with a commercially focused mindset
- A ‘clean’ driving licence
