Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an automotive captive finance business as a CRM Executive for a fixed term contract (9-12 months). This role is responsible for supporting the delivery of an integrated customer retention strategy, including data analysis and tactical initiatives to improve retention for the business, their vehicle manufacturer and dealers.

The position would suit someone with strong data analysis and Excel skills and a good understanding of customer retention and CRM systems. You may have experience in a marketing or CRM position or alternatively have a background working in another function within an automotive dealership with strong understanding/interest in customer retention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop & optimise initiatives to maximise customer retention
  • Ensure all activities are in line with manufacturer and dealers
  • Work with AI and machine learning agency to undertake customer analysis to help improve campaign offerings on a personalised level.
  • Monitor customer database for trends and changing behaviours.
  • Analyse and interrogate customer database to identify opportunities for campaign creation.
  • Create integrated marketing campaign assets
  • Support ongoing development of the CRM system including managing 3rd party suppliers
  • Measure and analyse renewals activity to understand success and target achievement. 
  • Present analysis to key stakeholders with a view to driving future improvements.
  • Build strong working relationships with relevant stakeholders
  • Provide support to field-based sales teams to ensure renewals and retention remain a focus
  • Identify risks, incidents and breaches, in line with company policies & procedures.

About You

  • Experience in a marketing role or CRM role in automotive &/or financial services OR experience working in an automotive dealership with strong understanding/interest in customer retention.
  • Data management and CRM systems experience
  • Strong Excel skills for use in data analysis
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to create effective presentations and proposals
  • Able to build strong working relationships both internally and externally
  • Strong organisational skills and time management skills
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent in marketing or other relevant discipline
  • Located in South East England
  • Driving license and ability to travel in the UK
  • Able to take on a fixed term contract for 9-12 months starting Feb/March 2026
