The Brief:

A car manufacturer was seeking an individual with a strong understanding of automotive retail sales operations.



Copeland’s Approach:

Our first approach was to review all our existing contacts. We backed this up with a headhunt on LinkedIn. We found 2 candidates who fitted the brief.  They were so impressed with one of the candidates they offered her the job without going to 2nd interview.



Area Marketing Manager – field based Marketing Agency

The Brief:

This marketing agency specialise in retail marketing. They needed an experienced automotive dealer marketing expert.



Copeland’s Approach:

Copeland have been recruiting for this agency for many years so we were familiar with the requirements. We quickly identified 5 potential candidates. The candidate who was offered the job had an ideal background working in a similar role.



Business Development Director Warranty Provider

The Brief:

A provider of warranty products was seeking a degree educated, business developer with strong experience selling to the automotive sector.



Copeland’s Approach:

A thorough search of our candidate database and headhunting on LinkedIn. 6 candidates were submitted and 2 were progressed to 2nd interview. Our client liked them both so much they offered both of them a job.



LCV Manager Automotive Manufacturer

The Brief:

This manufacturer was seeking an LCV expert to help realise strong ambitions to grow LCV sales.



Copeland’s Approach:

We carried out a headhunt to identify candidates with the required experience. We then approached these people and discussed the opportunity. After face to face interviews we submitted 4 candidates. 1 was taken forward to 2nd interview and offered the role.



Marketing Communications Manager Automotive Manufacturer

The Brief:

A confidential headhunt was required to fill this senior management role. They were seeking a communications expert with experience working for a major car brand & managing multiple agencies.



Copeland’s Approach:

We carried out a headhunt, networked, searched for and discreetly approached potential candidates. Our client gave feedback on how valuable an addition to their team the candidate has been.



Account Director Marketing Agency – Dealer Marketing

The Brief:

This agency was seeking an Account Director to head up a team running an Automotive Dealer Marketing Account. We were asked to handle this search on an exclusive basis.



Copeland’s Approach:

We contacted our network of dealer marketing candidates. We also did a detailed search of all potential candidates the locality of the agency. Through this approach we identified 1 candidate with the ideal profile who secured the position.
