Job Description

A car manufacturer is seeking a Parts Warehouse Manager to oversee all aspects of warehouse operations related to parts distribution, including inbound logistics, storage, inventory management. This role ensures operational efficiency, and compliance with company standards while leading teams and managing supplier and distributor relationships. The role is based in the Midlands.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement logistics strategies for inbound operations, distribution, and storage of parts
  • Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping
  • Ensure accurate inventory control and conduct regular cycle counts and audits
  • Optimise warehouse layout and workflows to maximize space utilization and operational efficiency
  • Lead logistics capacity, and resource planning to support business growth
  • Forecast warehouse capacity needs and plan resources accordingly
  • Design and optimise distribution network to reduce lead times and costs
  • Ensure all operations comply with laws, company guidelines, and daily operational requirements
  • Prepare and present management reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), including productivity, accuracy, and cost metrics
  • Maintain a safe working environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
