Job Description

A fast growing car manufacturer is seeking a Network Development Operations Manager to manage retailer performance, analyse results and composites. The role is head-office based in south east England with occasional travel across the UK to visit dealers and has management responsibility for a small team.

This role would suit a someone with a background working for a vehicle manufacturer in a dealer-facing role with responsibility for performance management. You’ll need to have a strong understanding of dealer composite reports and experience managing performance improvement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managing dealer performance levers including variable margin, retailer scorecards and escalation process
  • Defining sales strategies and communicating them to the retailers
  • Analysing retailer composite reports and business performance tools to identify performance gaps & improvement opportunities
  • Leading and motivating a small team
  • Creating action plans for under-performing dealers
  • Performance reporting for senior management
  • Managing relationships and tenders with key suppliers

ABOUT YOU

  • Proven experience in dealer network development or dealer-facing sales operations role for a working for a vehicle manufacturer (ideally passenger cars)
  • Strong understanding of franchised retailer operations
  • A strong understanding of, and experience working with, dealer composite reports
  • Excellent relationship building skills – with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience managing supplier relationships
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to lead a small team
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment- able to be nimble and quickly change priorities
  • Ability to innovate and problem solve
  • High level skills in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Able to work in South East England and travel across the UK as required
