Job Description

A leading supplier of technology led marketing solutions to automotive dealers is seeking an Account Manager to cover the South Coast region. This highly respected business offers  automotive dealers cost-effective marketing solutions at every stage of the customer journey – that generate results. They are now looking for an automotive retail marketing professional looking for the next step in their career to join their team.

The position is field-based covering Southern England and will be responsible for managing existing relationships with automotive dealers – helping them execute marketing strategies to maximum effect. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with your automotive dealer clients
  • Regular client meetings to present ROI and identify opportunities
  • Act as trusted advisor on CRM and marketing strategy, digital transformation, and platform utilisation
  • Monitor client engagement to maximise operational efficiency and identify opportunities
  • Champion client feedback internally to help shape product roadmap and strategic direction
  • Lead adoption of new product capabilities across your portfolio
  • Build business cases demonstrating ROI and strategic value for upsell conversations
  • Manage & negotiate contract renewals
  • Serve as the voice of your customers internally, bringing insights to Product, Sales, and leadership
  • Collaborate across teams to resolve escalations and deliver exceptional customer outcomes

About You

  • At least 3 years’ automotive retail marketing experience – in either a dealer, OEM or Agency
  • Ability to translate client needs and objectives into product opportunities with a strong understanding of CRM and paid social as part of a multi-channel marketing strategy
  • Proven track record of stakeholder management at C-suite and Group Director level
  • Experience of coaching and developing marketing executives in supporting roles
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Be located in Southern England and hold a driving license
