Job Description
A progressive and fast-growing car manufacturer is seeking a Social Media Manager to lead their UK social presence across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and emerging platforms. Managing a small team and multiple agencies, you’ll use your social media experience to create on-brand, engaging social content across multiple platforms.
This role would suit a proven social media expert – ideally a background working on for a passenger car brand – however candidates with experience on other fast moving consumer brands will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and developing UK social strategy
- Content development and production including writing briefs and planning shoots
- Managing quality and presentation of social platforms
- Scheduling and publishing content to optimal effectiveness
- Managing community and reputation working closely with internal stakeholders
- Identifying, evaluating & managing creators, influencers and partnerships
- Managing, briefing and measuring social agencies and content partners
- Building social journeys for vehicle launches including live event coverage and shoots
- Ensuring organic insight integrates with paid social – working closely with colleagues
- Setting KPIs to measure social metrics
- Regular reporting on social performance
- Ensuring social content is compliant and in line with brand guidelines
- Planning and managing social budgets and resources
Requirements and Skills:
- At least five years’ experience in social media, content or digital marketing.
- Hands-on experience managing TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and Facebook for a recognised brand.
- A portfolio of social content and campaigns, with evidence of your personal contribution and the result.
- Knowledge of short-form video – TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts
- Experience developing social strategy and turning it into an high-output content calendar.
- Excellent written English
- Experience briefing & managing agencies, creators, editors or production partners.
- Able to use performance data and social listening to make decisions.
- Strong project management skills
- Able to work in London 5 days a week
- Valid driving licence
