Job Description

Do you have a background in automotive dealer marketing working for a dealership, marketing agency or vehicle manufacturer? Would you like to progress your career into an Account Director role – working on a leading car manufacturer’s retail marketing?

This opportunity with a London based marketing agency could be your next big career move. You’ll work 3 days a week from the London office as well as having regular meetings with the manufacturer. You’ll lead a small team of account managers responsible for the dealer marketing for a leading car manufacturer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a team of dealer marketing account managers responsible for: Leading the focus dealer program; Implementing dealer website reviews; & Assisting in the day-to-day management of dealer interactions
  • Management of the Dealer Portal
  • Provide a high level consultancy service to aid dealers in the the completion of dealer marketing plans
  • Work with the OEM to identify Focus Dealers & oversee proposed marketing solutions
  • Monitor dealer marketing compliance and take appropriate action as required
  • Manage and distribute brand guidelines to dealers
  • Identify and develop opportunities for operational and brand enhancements
  • Co-ordinate ad-hoc market feedback requests

About You

  • A proven track record in an automotive dealer marketing role – either with a dealer, marketing agency or manufacturer 
  • Experience managing at least 1 person
  • Be educated to degree level – preferably with a professional marketing qualification 
  • Have a strong understanding of automotive dealer marketing  
  • Proven ability to multi-task and enjoy working under pressure in a fast paced environment 
  • Ability to demonstrate a creative approach to problem solving 
  • Clear understanding of brand and product development  
  • Live within commutable distance of Central London
