Job Description

Do you have experience managing an automotive OEM account working for an agency or supplier? Do you have fabulous client relationship management skills as well as an analytical approach to presenting information? If so this Account Director role managing a major vehicle manufacturer B2B sales (fleet) account could be for you. You’ll be working for a leading supplier of outsourced sales and marketing services to automotive OEMS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Building, managing and developing relationships with key stakeholders at the vehicle manufacturer
  • Overseeing the agency team to ensure successful delivery of the contract (via line managers)
  • Seek out opportunities to grow the account
  • Working closely with key client stakeholders to identify solutions to problems and growth opportunities
  • Reporting results and genuine insight to clients to enable them to use a data-led sales strategy.
  • Managing Account Managers
  • Working on pitches / tenders for new work and renewals of existing contracts

About You:

  • Strong B2B account management experience with an agency or supplier to automotive OEMs
  • Experience at Account Director level (or equivalent)
  • A background in a B2B sales or marketing environment
  • Team leadership/management experience
  • Ability to communicate and influence at senior level in Automotive OEMs
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Strong understanding of Data and CRM
  • Able to use data and insight to improve customer targeting
  • An analytical approach to presenting information; experience of using a data-led approach to designing a sales strategy would be advantageous
  • A good understanding of fleet / B2B sales would be very useful but is not essential
  • Strong IT skills with experience of using CRM technology (e.g. Salesforce)
