Job Description

A fast growing passenger car brand is seeking a Head of Fleet to manage a team responsible for developing and executing their UK fleet sales strategy. You and your team will sell to leasing companies, corporate fleets, public sector, rental and new mobility channels. You will also work with the dealer network to grow SME business. The position is hybrid requiring 1 to 2 days a week at head office (SE England) and will involve travel in the UK.

 This role would suit a someone with a proven track record leading large-scale fleet operations within an OEM, leasing company or fleet management organisation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead all B2B sales activities including: Leasing companies, Corporate fleets, Public sector, Rental operators, Salary sacrifice providers & Emerging mobility channels.
  • Lead and develop a fleet & Business sales team
  • Strategic leadership of fleet sales team
  • Commercial management of fleet business – performance, forecasting & reporting
  • EV Fleet leadership – position the brand as a leading provider of EV fleet solutions
  • Create and implement national fleet programme for the dealer network
  • Establishing the Company as a major force within the UK electric vehicle market
  • Residual value performance – working closely with key stakeholders

ABOUT YOU

  • At least 10 years’ experience within automotive fleet, business sales or commercial vehicle sales.
  • Proven success leading large-scale fleet operations within an OEM, leasing company or fleet management organisation.
  • Strong network across UK leasing companies, corporate fleets, salary sacrifice providers and public sector organisations.
  • Experience launching or scaling automotive brands within the UK market is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of EV market dynamics, fleet funding solutions and residual value management.
  • Exceptional negotiation, commercial and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing national sales teams.
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • A highly sales/target driven approach
  • Happy working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a flexible approach
