Job Description

A highly successful vehicle conversion business who manufacturer a range of high quality LCV conversions are seeking a Head of Sales & Marketing. The business has enjoyed significant growth over recent years and is now looking to scale up to the next level. 

You’ll be tasked with creating and implementing sales performance and marketing plans to drive sales in line with business growth targets. This will involve managing a large team (both office and field based) with responsibility for sales and marketing.  The business prides itself in working collaboratively and you’ll need to use your strategic sales and people management skills to lead your team to drive revenue and product development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creating & implementing sales performance and marketing plans to drive sales
  • Leading and motivating a large team of sales and marketing professionals
  • Setting realistic targets to achieve required sales
  • Keeping abreast of the market and competitors to ensure the company’s products remain ahead of the market and in line with customer needs
  • Manage sales and marketing budgets
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with legislation, industry standards, health and safety
  • Work closely with other departments within the business including sales, marketing, HR & accounts

About You

  • 10+ years’ experience in a sales leadership role managing a large team
  • Experience managing a remote sales team
  • A track record in growing sales in a B2B environment
  • Knowledge of automotive/fleet/leasing/vehicle conversion businesses – highly advantageous
  • A good understanding of marketing and how it works to drive sales
  • Ability to lead and motivate a marketing team to work hand in hand with sales team
  • Experience effectively managing sales and marketing budgets
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Proficient in effectively using CRM software and marketing automation tools
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem solving skills
  • Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced environment
