Do you have experience in a B2B account management role working for a marketplace, technology or SaaS business in the automotive sector or similar? Are you interested in progressing your career with an exciting, fast moving technology marketplace business?
An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Account Manager with a fast-growing, London based technology marketplace business. You’ll manage a portfolio of existing accounts across the UK – carrying out regular business reviews and always looking for opportunities to up-sell additional products and services. The role is hybrid with 2 days a week in central London with regular travel to meet with clients across the UK.
This role would suit someone with a proven track record growing revenue across a portfolio of accounts and experience working for a technology or online marketplace business. You’ll need to demonstrate proven account management and consultative sales experience and the ability to work with stakeholders from c-suite to operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow and retain a portfolio of automotive and industrial clients across the UK – working with multiple client stakeholders from board level down
- Work with your clients to develop long-term solutions to assist with their business objectives.
- Maximise revenue from your clients from core services and cross-selling products and services
- Analyse client performance and adoption data to identify growth opportunities and mitigate churn risk
- Lead regular performance reviews, analysis and strategic proposals for clients
- Regular reporting and analysis on your portfolio
- Act as the primary escalation point for key client issues
- Work closely and collaboratively with colleagues and the wider business
About You
- At least 3 years’ experience in a client-facing consultative sales account management role
- Experience working in an online marketplace, SaaS or technology business
- Ability to liaise with all levels of client stakeholder from board level down
- Strong commercial and target driven approach
- Demonstrable success in growing revenue across a portfolio of accounts.
- Willingness to take on regular (weekly) travel across the UK to visit clients
- A passion for tech based business and ability to demonstrate its benefits to customers
- Strong numerical skills & able to recognise/track trends and report on these
- Strong presentation skills and ability to effectively sell product features and handle objections
- Be willing to learn new skills and knowledge to improve yourself
- Demonstrate the ability to self-motivate, manage your time and work autonomously as required
- Ideally have a driving license
- Able to work in Central London 2 days per week
