Aftersales Performance Manager

A leading car manufacturer with a fantastic employer reputation are seeking a field based Aftersales Performance Manager to work with dealers in South East region.

Job Purpose
To act as the aftersales link between the manufacturer and their dealer network ensuing that dealers meet their obligations to represent and deliver the manufacturer’s required aftersales experience at all times. Responsible for parts & accessory purchases and sold hours objectives for the zone and to provide the overall direction to positively influence overall absorption and Network profitability. Creating legendary customer service levels and maintaining dealer Standards whilst overseeing the maintenance aftersales processes, related programmes and activities


Key Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and improving After Sales activity through performance management of dealer
  • Ensure alignment and shared direction other field team members & head office departments
  • Working with dealer personnel – from senior management down to assist in analysing performance data and compiling action plans to improve performance and ensure franchise standards are met.
  • Objective setting with dealers
  • Performance Management on objectives
  • Programme Management – to assist underperforming dealers
  • Marketing – ensuring all dealers have an appropriate aftersales marketing plan
  • Network development – ensure aftersales franchise standards are met


Candidate Requirements

  • Educated to Degree/Graduate or equivalent level
  • Automotive Manufacturer experience in a field role or dealer background in an aftersales role
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills to a senior level personnel
  • An understanding of Aftersales KPI’s
  • Commercial flair, understanding of business and maximising revenue
  • Strong analytical skills in order to interpret market information in an in-depth way
  • Demonstrable Marketing Skills / experience
  • Coaching/training skills – ability to develop dealer after sales staff
  • Understanding of UK after sales market including parts, accessories, service, trade and crash repair
