A provider of a cutting edge software solution for Motor Dealers is seeking a Business Development Manager to help with their next stage of development. This is a rare opportunity to join an innovative, growing, company making its mark on the UK motor industry. The position is field based and the location is flexible however you will ideally be fairly central in the UK.

The role is responsible for selling and winning new business with motor dealers through the use of targeted client selection and the presentation of the product. It would suit someone with experience in a B2B sales role selling a product or service to motor dealers. Any experience working with a technology / software based product would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pro-actively identify target dealers.
  • To achieve and exceed quarterly / annual new business objectives
  • Manage a sales territory and or prospect lists for business opportunities
  • To report weekly, monthly, quarterly personal performance.

Candidate Specification

  • Experience selling a product or service to automotive dealers
  • Good presentation and selling skills, able to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • A proven track record in business development
  • Numerate and computer literate.
