A leading manufacturer of passenger cars and commercial vehicles are looking to recruit an Area Sales Manager to manage the dealer network in Scotland.

This role would suit someone currently in a dealer facing role with a vehicle manufacturer OR in a dealership sales management position. You will need to be really sales focused and demonstrate a strong track record of success in your current role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maximising the sales performance and profitability of dealers.
  • Improving the sales of new vehicles to retail, Motability, and small fleet customers.
  • Coaching dealer sales staff to give customers a first-class sales experience.
  • Advising and guiding dealership management with regards to individual dealer development plans.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Dealer facing sales role with a vehicle manufacturer or sales management in a dealership
  • Experience of new vehicle sales to retail, local business and small fleet customers
  • Ability demonstrate tangible results – managing volume, hitting targets & good sales penetration
  • Strong coaching and development ability with dealer staff
  • Living in Scotland
