Job Description

A market leading SaaS solutions business serving the automotive bodyshop/repair sector is seeking a Customer Onboarding Specialist. The business is a market leader in its home market and has recently launched in the UK. With a very strong SaaS product, they pride themselves in delivering exemplary customer experience.  Your objective will be to help deliver this amazing customer experience by educating and assisting new customers to ensure smooth adoption of their products and services.

You’ll be tasked with training and onboarding new customers, working with each customer from the point of sale until they are competent with the system and ready to handover to support. You will also assist the customer support team – covering this role as required.

This role would suit someone with a background in training, coaching or education combined with a strong automotive industry knowledge – ideally in the crash repair or aftersales sectors. You’ll also need to demonstrate excellent customer service and relationship building skills and a highly organized approach. You will predominantly work remotely but will need to travel to customers and provide on-site training occasionally.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage customer relationships from the point of sale through successful implementation
  • Help the customer define their needs and manage their timeline toward seeing value
  • Work with sales, development, and support teams to ensure that the product adoption experience meets customer expectations
  • Respond to customer inquiries with a sense of urgency
  • Maintain current working knowledge of the product
  • Provide ongoing customer support as required
  • Assist with best practices and tips
  • Create a loyal customer base
  • Collect customer feedback and act on it

About You

  • Experience working in a training, coaching or teaching role
  • Demonstrate excellent coaching / training skills with ability to engage your audience
  • Automotive industry knowledge, ideally in either crash repair, bodyshop, aftersales or other automotive .
  • Experience working in Software/SaaS advantageous but as a minimum able to demonstrate the ability to quickly learn a large software system and become an expert in it
  • Highly organised and able to follow a structured process
  • Passionate about delivering consistent excellence
  • Highly customer focused – ability to build trust and relationships with customers
  • A valid driving license and ability to travel occasionally in the UK
